How to be Happy, Tip of the Week

You want a tip on how to be happy like Colton here?
Well read on with an open mind.

Father son camp out just ended and I had a good time. It helped to clear up my mind, much like On Course. You make the time to get away and not have to worry about life for awhile and enjoy it instead.

The first night service Pastor David said a few things to kinda set the foundation of the camp, he said we all need to pull together. But not just at camp though it is a good starting point. When he said that I was reminded of a few things and had a chance to share at that time but didn't and I should have. The circumstance was a bit ironic for me.

So I am telling you this because I missed my chance at camp and feel this is appropriate for all of Youth Alive.

When pastor David said we all need to pull together. It was like light was getting brighter and a picture I was trying to examine and understand became more clearer. There is a concept that we need to make an effort to grasp. I know Youth Alive is made up of teenagers (and I am one of them...) but just try to think a little bit above yourself when reading the rest of this.

There are no bIg I's and little u's. So don't try and be a big I, and don't label yourself a little u. I don't know about any of you fellow YA (Youth Alive) but I am sick of the  Status quo. And seeing it in the church makes me cringe in disgust. Because we are suppose to be the ones who have denied ourself for the greatest good, right?

I don't want to say much more but when you stop trying to be a "big I" where you have a desire to be the center of attention and always want to be noticed when anything is happening, or a "little u" where you throw your self a pity party because nobody notices you and you thank everybody hates you or something. The status quo won't matter anymore if we all pull together because there is no "big I's" saying "if I'm not happy, nobody should be happy", or "little u's" saying I don't care if everybody is happy, I'm not going to be". But consider this, it all depends on what you want.

Blogging Tutorial Rule #489

There are a few topics that I have interest in discussing regarding blogging. I have decided it is better not to mention names, so this topic is about information in your blog posts. This is rule #489 of all 10,000 rules you need to know when blogging.

Their is a particular blog somewhere on the web that has to do with some particular youth group somewhere in the world.

Well there was a certain short blog post that somebody from that youth group happened to have written regarding a youth get-together that happens to be on a Friday. And today happens to be that Friday.

Now the mistake of that blog post was, this person who happens to be a girl stated all the information needed of the youth get-together, that at the moment nobody is at. How I know this, I will not tell you.

Anyway, they stated everything except, this person left out the time of the event.
And though it is to late, a correction is still needed so......

It was suppose to start at 7....
