Its been a year!

Its been a year since I took her home

A year since the adventure started for real

We pulled away in my car, I had shined the chrome

as we rode away I thought what a deal

It was a Saturday with good weather

Now its a Sunday over here

In her I still find pleasure

                                 and its already been a year

It went like a blur

and now with a little one on the way

I've become a connoisser

of how to buy many things we need

and a frugal life still lead

So as we head into another year

I thank you Lord for lending your ear

you've provided all the way

and another year I'll take day by day
