Sweet Autumn....

What's this? Oh, this is Halloween. Yup, too many across the U.S. this day represents fear, loneliness and dead horrors. And children dress up as their favorite scary character or creature. But who needs all that? Why would somebody let there children randomly go door to door at NIGHT to collect candy. Especially in the twisted world that we live in today.

I remember when I was a little kid when I went trick or treating. We had to be carful. We could not eat candy while we were out. We had to wait till we got home so we can check the candy. "Why would you check the candy?" You ask. If my memory is correct, after Halloween their were a number of children who were Hosptalized due to poisoned candy.

So why not fellowship with people you know and trust. If you can stay tonight after the bible study and sit down with some pie or cookies and have a conversation with somebody you haven't talked to for awhile. That would be great!

P.S. I am still waiting for those comments!

Seasonal Art!

I saw this pomegranate and saw a face suddenly. So without a moments delay I went to work and when I was finished I had a shrunken pomegranate head! How amazing is that!

Hello Again

I have noticed that some who post on this blog have not posted as much as they did. I have recently started contributing to this blog and have not posted much. I don't know why I am pointing this out but I did. I would also like to say to those out there who read post after post (although I think this blog was mostly pictures and small talk till I came along and started writing a bunch of nonsense that nobody probably reads...) I encourage you all to leave a comment to the posts on this blog after your read them. You can even start with this one.

One more thing to folks at Higher Ground. There is a potluck after Wednesday service on October 31st. The young people will be making desserts but if the adults want to make something, they are welcome to.

DON'T FORGET! Leave a comment

Couldn't quit catch it but I think that's what he said... lol

Anyways thank you Bro & Sis Trevino for making your kidnapping demands and following ransom reasonable.

Vote this November.

President Obama:

Supports partial-birth abortion

Does not support Israel, which faces increasing pressure from Iran

Has grown our national debt from $10.6 trillion to over $16 trillion (and rising)

Does not support the sanctity of marriage

Seeks to introduce a broken system, which would increase our debt even further ($1.76 trillion over ten years)

Believes that successful America’s are not responsible for their success

Has said, “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction

The above statements are all true with one exception. Obama has recently been more supportive of Israel.

I refuse to vote for someone who is painting a bulls eye on America and saying "God we embrace everything that you call an abomination!" God will not be mocked and his judgement will follow if we turn from him. Seems antiquated? You bet. But God is not president, he is God and he will never be up for re-election. So resist, deny, posture, and struggle all you want. Some day you will find yourself face to face with him and maybe you can convince him to change... nah.
