Happy Church Project!

This Saturday at 8am there will be a men's workday at the church! There will be coffee and doughnuts. If you can't make it at the scheduled time please make an effort to at some time in the day, to come help with the Happy Church Project!

6 More Hours 2 Go!!!!

As a lot of people know, the iPhone 5 will be available in 6 hours! There are three of us who thought it would be fun to wait in line at the Apple store ALL night after spending the DAY at Disneyland!!!!!! So we went to our local Apple store........BUT! They are NOT allowing people to form a LINE!!! Till!!! 6 In tHe morning!!!!!(because it is an outdoor mall....) So we are now waiting in line at AT&T STORE!!!!!!!

OK! Not as much ACTION as the Apple store.... Anyway....

It's FINALLY here!!!!!

A Van will leave church at 6:00 PM This Friday for Javier's house. Gas is $3.

Monday Morning Fire!!!!

This morning when I was DEAD asleep, sister David was pounding on my door. I jumped out of bed and opened the door to find out that the hill behind our house in on fire!

 After hearing that dreadful news that forced me to get out of bed, I thought to myself "of course there would be a fire on Monday morning". When I finally left my room to go outside to see how bad the fire was, there were helicopters and Fire Trucks flying and driving about (FYI: the helicopters were flying and the Trucks were driving).

The helicopter was flying into the canyon to get water and dump it on the fire. A few times that helicopter flew over our house and I was hoping he was going to dump a few hundred gallons of water on us...

 AND THEN the trash guy came up and I remembered it was trash day so I got a nice picture of the Trash Guy.

 In all the confusion I was feeling sorry for our puppy Miss-T. She didn't have the slightest idea what was going on and I thought she was going to lose it!

 But SURPRISINGLY she calmed down and I thought the rest of the day was going to go pretty good.

 Then out of NOWHERE, she burst out SINGING!!!!!!

After awhile a toy caught her eye and being the A.D.D. dog that she is, she went to go play with it....

 Oh yeah... we are fine. By the time I was ready and went outside, the fire was almost out.

This is just ONE example of why you should NOT call Pastor David on Monday's! 

Youth Alive This Friday!!!!!!!!

Hello everybody, DO NOT FORGET! This Friday September 21st(same day the iPhone 5 will be in an Apple store near you!), Youth Alive will be at Javier & Priscilla's house. More details below.


Youth Alive begins @ 7pm. No transportation arrangements have been made yet, we are recalculating the route to avoid hitting traffic (not really :). but do keep an eye out for future postings or announcements. Invite a friend and bring a dish. It is a potluck.
