Hello everybody's, I did not plain on posting anything today. But there has been some miscommunication. And I just want to express how deeply sorry I am for providing y'all's with the wrong information. I apologize from the bottom of my heart and hope that one day everything will be right again...

WOE is me! My heart is pricked. For my understanding has gone away from me! What doith I to have such a misfortune. For what I do know, I know not and what I do not know, I know!

Anyway...if you are in fact confused of where Youth Alive is tonight, check out the post before this by Jerus.

With all due respect.

Tuesday Updates!

This week Youth Alive is at Jerus' place!

I know yesterday was Monday and I did not post my Monday Updates like I promised but I am tiered from the Holiday weekend! Give a guy a break! You know I was actually thinking about taking a break from posting on this blog...

Anyway, Youth Alive this Friday. It is a potluck and if you have ANY questions I encourage you to post a comment. Also this Saturday there is the West Coast Youth Rally at Brother Diaro's church. That is all I know about that BUT if you want further information PLEASE post a comment!

Thank you for your time and have a nice week!

Wait! I just now had a thought, about rabbits. Don't ask me why because I don't know? That's just what popped into my head right now. but since I had that thought I don't think I should sign off just yet.

Although I have not posted much on the blog in my spare time I have FINALITY learned how to conduct a "do while" loop properly in the C programming language. You see I am working on a little program for this free computer science course I am taking. In the course they tell you what Program you need to make and then you find the best way to make the program using C. So the following is what I figured out in the course for Problem Set 1.

#include <stdio.h>
#include <cs50.h>

int
main(void)
{
int days = 0;
    do
    {
    printf("How many days in a month: ");
        days = GetInt();
    }
    while (days < 28 || days >31);
}

And that's what I have accomplished on the simple program so far. I am still trying to figure out the rest.

Well wish me luck in my journeys. Goodbye...

Behold, the Thanksgiving Tree!

Thanksgiving Tree of 2011!

Here I am again waiting till the end of the day to write a post. Well it's not that I didn't wait, I couldn't. I simply didn't have the time.

When all you that come up here for thanksgiving, I hope you have a good time because we have been working our tushes off! Not that I am complaining, I am saying this to demonstrate what an important occasion  this is, especially now that certain persons are on their second term. I know call me a hater, just leave it in the comment section.

Hey while we are on the political subject there was a comic strip I heard about.  Here's how it goes...

A kid is Trick-or-Treating on Halloween and he knocks on a door for some candy. The man who answers the door tell the kid "I'm going to take half of your candy and give it to all the kids who were to lazy to go Trick-or-Treating." The boy replies "Another democrat."

Haha, how funny is that! Well not to funny if you really get to thinking about it.  But no worries! There is still plenty to be thankful for! I can prove it.

The above picture shows last years Thanksgiving Tree. Almost everybody that was at our house last year wrote on a leaf of what they were thankful for and signed it.

2012 Thanksgiving Tree!

Now this year we have a bigger Thanksgiving Tree! This year I expect that we are going to fill up the whole wall with leafs.

Monday Update!

Sorry for the late post but once again I have been procrastinating because Blogger for iPhone frustrates me to tears. But no worries, the update did make it a little easer to cope with.

Now as far as I can tell there are no new updates but I thought a post each Monday entitled "Monday Update" is kind catchy. Maybe not to you be definitely to me. If you think I am absolutely wrong and to have a title for a weekly post that talks about updates even though there are no real updates......that's cool, I'm fine with that. Let me know. Post a comment.

In fact if you have a better name than "Monday Updates" post two comments. One stating how wrong and terrible I am for putting a false title for a weekly post. And the second one will state your idea of what the title should be. If you want it all in one and not two, that's fine as well.

Man, how I can go on and on is really shocking. Lots of times when I am getting ready to write a post I have an idea of the main topic but I always feel like a am chasing rabbits. Like now for example.

But that's ok, right? I mean we are all crazy in our own way.... Or maybe we are all normal but think it's crazy because nowadays the things that are or might be crazy are not and the things that are normal or natural are crazy, outrageous even. So that means the crazy person is in the right and sane person thou he/she is right is in the wrong. Or what if craziness is nonexistent just something in our heads? See that make a lot more sense.

See what I mean, rabbits.

Hey, speaking of rabbits I have a sad story to tell you.

One late night about a week or so ago, Resa and I were on our way home. Around the area we live there is not much light. Well as we were driving along all of the sudden there was a rabbit that dashed out into the street at the wrong time. When I heard a thump I knew that rabbit would thump no more. The End.

Life is full of tragedy and that rabbit was crazy for trying to cross the road like he did(or didn't). But as we discussed earlier craziness is nonexistent and only in our heads so that means the rabbit thou he was wrong in his right, was wrong. Life is truly full of mystery.

Anyway, I guess I said all of that to come to this point. Um wait, maybe I will just post something on Tuesday because I kinda forgot what I was originally going to post. See that stupid rabbit.

Well that's all for the Monday update!

A Week from RIGHT Now!

Just right around the corner!!!

I hope all of you are getting ready because Thanksgiving is a WEEK from today! The yard is looking good and the plans are coming together, NEW ones too. We are working on getting a slack line and zip line set up for y'alls! (if I ever use the word "y'alls" again, I give you guys permission to rebuke me...)

Before I go any further, anybody who is bringing sweets or deserts can you please leave a comment to this post of what you are bringing(you see I got to make sure there are enough for everybody when I am done with the first round....). Yeah thanksgiving is awesome. Better than Christmas because their is more food. Yyyeaaahh..... just the thought of food makes everything better right now.

Now a special word from our sponsor.......
 Colton reading me a story....
  Colton laughing at me.....
See he wants you to come up here on thanksgiving so he can read you a story in his colorful book and laugh at you too!

before I go here is another quote.

"Don't be a Turkey, be Thankful!

How to Post a Comment on a Mobile Device

Youth Alive This Friday!

Holy moly! This is the first this is like the first time I posted on the Youth Alive blog with computer and not an iPhone, and so far it has not been a headache! Well lets get to the point and see how long I can stay their???

If you are a mobile user and view this blog on the go or it is your only way of viewing the blog and you have attempted to post a comment, you will find that it does not work. It can probably be fixed but Jerus says that he has to give up some of his Vito Power. In case you do not know the differences in the Mobile view and Web view, allow me to explain.

Mobile view looks like a Phone App and Web view looks like a Web Page.
Mobile View

Web View

Now Mobile View is default on a Phone and if you do not know how to change it this is what you do.

First you scroll to the bottom of you blog(as shown in the picture below)and tap on the link that say "View web version"
As you can see the link "View web version" is right above the Blog Contributors in the Mobile View. Once you tap on that it will show a normal version of the blog. To leave a comment, at the end of any post you want to comment just tap on the "Comment" link(show Bellow).
That's all!

Now as I was saying earlier in the post, well at the start of it to be more specific. Youth Alive is this Friday at 7PM. It will be a Potluck at Bro Micah's.

You know I'm kinda liking this walk-through stuff. Maybe I can have a walk-through on how to download a podcast and manage them for all those who have asked me? Yeah sounds good........

Thank You Google!

I wrote a post earlier today about thanksgiving but I started off about the Blogger App and how Google needs to update the User Interface of it. Well a few hours after that post there was an update for the Blogger app in the App Store and I thought how ironic. So I am trying it out to see if it works better and if this post comes out weird, blame google!

Come to think of it it's not exactly ironic. Ironic does not describe the situation. Well if you find a word that better suits the situation, post a comment and let me know.

Speaking of comments, if you have attempted to post a comment on the blog in the mobile format which will be on iPhone, iPod touch, Android or tablets, you have probably found that you in fact can not post a comment.

I will have to post directions with pictures via old fashion Computer because Google apparently did not fix the BIGGEST problems in the Blogger app in the update????

P.S. Dear Google
I really appreciate the update today but next time can you fix the problem. If you don't know what problem I am talking about, just post a comment.
Thank you.

A Special Thanks

Somebody had the courage to post a commit on this blog. I was sssssooooo SHOCKED and thought this individual needs to be rewarded. So I think a poem of gratitude is appropriate.

Thank you Maxine for replying to my post.
I am glad, and to you a raise a toast.

Sometimes I feel lonely here on this blog.
I feel wretched and horrid like a hog.

So three cheers to you for being brave.
If only others will come out of there cave!

A Week From Tomorrow!

I bet you've never seen a Turkey play the harmonica before!

I first want to start off by pointing out what a huge procrastinator I am. There! You don't have to accuse me, I admit it! This time the reason why I point this huge flaw in my nature is as follows. You see I had planned to post this RIGHT after breakfast but I didn't, it is now 4:26. I hope the creators of the Blogger App are reading this because that app seriously needs User Interface improvements! I mean goodness! You guys made a mobile platform! And a search engine that is used by everyone who was born. Can you at lest make a decent app?

Oh yeah, thanksgiving! I did a post yesterday on thanksgiving and today I want to share some quotes from people who had something to say about thanksgiving at our house.

"Always, always, always something to be thankful for!"

Thanksgiving, Next Week!

Thanksgiving is just next week!

It's only a little over a week away! I am going to try and post something every day because this is such a special occasion. Everything is almost ready and it's almost here. I kinda feel like I am repeating myself. But who cares how I feel. We are doing this for you! Please contact sis Susan to let her know what you are bringing. Also feel free to post a comment describing what you are bringing. If you want to know more info post a comment! If you are reading this post a comment! If you are coming post a comment! If you are not coming post a comment! If you are thankful post a comment!

I hope that I have made myself clear in a kindly manner. If I haven't or if I have post a comment! And thank you for all you cooperation. But even if you don't feel like cooperating, you should post a comment. I think I'll stop here so you can post your comments. Sigh.......................

He wants you to leave a comment before its for its to late!

Oh dear. He does not look to happy...

I don't thing Grim is going to last much longer. In case you are wondering who this grim is, he is my very own shrunken pomegranate head. When he was first brought into this world with nature, my overwhelming creativity and a Permanent maker, I was so thrilled! Although there may be some out there who think this is odd. Well I guess that is the way art is. Think about it. Take some mash potatoes, play-dough it into something, and you got yourself a masterpiece!

Although Grim here is young, his days are short. Went his time comes I will probably eat him. I know, how sad. I shall miss him dearly and I hope you will to. Please leave a comment wishing him well and say your goodbyes. He might not make it through Thanksgiving?

Hear Ye Hear Ye!

This is a public service announcement for all who attend Higher Ground.

Before I start babbling on about the point of this post, let me babble you a story!

Once upon a time there was a Church in a far far away land that is called Coltonland. The saints that attend the Chuch are a happy people. One day during one of the services God was ministering to the people. When the preacher went up and read opening scripture some took out their bibles, some took out their iPhones and some took out their (to big to be called a phone) Samsung Galixy S III. Those with bibles flipped there way to the passage and was ready when the preacher was. Those with the phones taped their way to the bible App and then to the verse. However on the way to the bible App they noticed that they had a few emails, missed calls, texts messages and reminders. They suddenly became distracted durring the scripture reading. After the reading the preacher starts slow. Then the tention in the service builds. People are claping and shouting. The preacher starts to quiet everything down with his message and tells a story and suddenly a Samsung Galaxy S III that was forgotten to be put on vibrate because of the complicated process and design of the phone/tablet thing, went off and disrupted the service, the preacher, and move of God. How terrible it was, the outrageous screen size was so big and Goliath like that the preacher swung a rock at it. And they all would have lived happily ever after.

So the babbling point is to leave the distraction (cell phone) in the car and out of the sanctuary because you can risk babbling the service!

With all due respect

Holy Monkeys! I Did it Again!

I forgot to post again!         Photos here

What is wrong with me!? I have told curtain people that I will post frequently on two subjects. So far I have been forgetting or putting off the responsibilities that I have committed myself to. So this post will be two in one and I hope you are able to keep up with my confusion.

PLEASE I ask if you if you will kindly stop by the store in the Radisson (if you are at West Coast) and support Sis David's Pretty Petals. Click on the link bellow the photo above to view sister David's site with pictures of her wonderful creations.

•Read the following for part 2 of the post:

Higher Ground, Thanksgiving at our house is coming up. We hope all who can make it, can make it. Thank you and bye for now.

It's BROKEN!!!!!

Youth Alive page seems to have rebelled.

I don't know if anybody has noticed that in the web version of this page (not the mobile) items are overlapping each other. It may not bother you the reader or viewer of this blog but when I go on here to post for you the reader/viewer, I am agonized and dread to look upon the web page that I am thankful to contribute to though its horrific to look upon in my eyes.

If I had the administrative authority or ability rather, I would happily fix the problem! This very post would be nonexistent and we would be living our lives in happy oblivion. But it is there and it MUST be fixed! I could just go to Jerus and tell him the burdens of my heart but then I had a terrific brain wave!

You the readers/viewers could help me out. How AWESOME is that! All you have to do is leave a comment to this post explaining that the blog is in terrible shape and is in need of repair and improvements. All the comments that are made on this blog are sent to Jerus who has the ability to solve ALL of our problems.

I thank you all for having compassion of the difficulties that have interrupted me to write this to you.

With all do respect,
         -Dominick

ATTENTION to all lady's at West Cost!

Buy some candy and flowers people! They go together!

I don't know who all read the Youth Alive blog of Higher Ground, probably not many? But if you are at Wast Coast Conference and you are a lady and you have a sweet tooth and like pretty things, I encourage you to stop at the little shop they got going on and buy what you like. I will post more  pictures to come of the awesome things they got their.

You will not regret stopping by! The costumer service is the best in its line of business. There is so much more I can say about Sister David's Pretty Petals. But I'm going to go to bed. So I am signing off for now and will write another post related to this one tomorrow when I am in a better frame of mind to write.

Thanksgiving is Coming!

Just 2 1/2 weeks away!

Thanksgiving is just around th corner and all you are invited again! Last year I think we started planing a week before Thanksgiving. Times are getting rougher so we made an effort to start planing in October. In rough times its good for the Church Family to come together and count their blessings. We hope all of you at Higher Ground can make it. If you have any friends that you want to come, invite them to!

There will be games for all ages, FOOD, fellowship, singing, laughing, autumn sinery, Indians, pies, cupcakes, cookies, Christmas lights, bathrooms, a shrunken pomegranate head, 3 gleeful dogs, a miniature replica of the Grand Canyon, a dead caterpillar and an entertaining turkey!

That's not all, when I say FOOD and describe the food that there will be. I cannot possibly know if those food items will be available because thanksgiving is potluck style. But I do know their will be pie. As for the others things I have described, they are as accurate as you'd expect. But don't take my word for it! Come see for yourself on November 22nd!
